    ADAKU CHIDUME-OKORO is an Entrepreneur of repute; having distinguished herself in the area of Non-Oil Exports. She is the First Presidential Award winner as “Nigeria’s Woman Exporter of the year 2010 (Non-Oil Exports)”. She is the Group Managing Director of GACON group of companies - a conglomerate that is into the processing and export of Agricultural commodities Herbs and Botanicals. A Board Member of several companies in Nigeria & Outside the Country; a philanthropist of note and an innovator with the Midas signature touch on her projects. She has flown Nigeria's flag for Non-Oil Exports in several parts of the world at International Exhibitions, Trade Fairs , Food Summits and Conferences in Las Vegas, Chicago, New Orleans, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Shanghai, Accra, Mexico etc.

    Her Group of companies product lines include : Gum Arabic ( All Grades), Dried Split Ginger, Dried Hibiscus Flower, Dried Chili Pepper, Dried Kolanut, Stone Flower and Grains of Paradise.

    Over the years, GACON LTD has exported her range of products to the United States of America, United Kingdom, Israel, Russia, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, India, China, Italy, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, France and Bulgaria.

    Adaku Chidume-Okoro is a product of University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now OAU) BSc. Economics, an Alumni of University of Lagos, MSc. Economics & PGD Computer Science. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).

    She is a born innovator and loves mentoring, Gardening & Dancing. She cherishes happiness and positivity as she believes life is too short to waste any moment of it.

  • To provide access to genuine business opportunities and improve the livelihoods of young Nigerians through training in skills and engagement in sustainable exports of Agricultural Commodities, health ingredients, Herbs and Botanicals.
  • To provide business opportunities, train and build capacity for woman at ownership and management levels in Agribusiness in support of gender equity and inclusiveness .
  • To build a strong network of young Agro Entrepreneurs (Agro Traders & Processors) for shared experiences and access to group incentives provided by Donor Agencies, Governments and Institutions.
  • To establish among our Youths the Culture entrenched in a vision of seeing and appreciating ‘Agriculture as a sustainable and profitable business’.
  • To Provide sustainable Investment option for Youths and Women Entrepreneurs who have idle funds and looking for safe investments.
  • To Broaden Mentees understanding of Global Trade and Business & access mentorship from real time practitioners in the Non- Oil Export Business.
