🌍 GACON LTD at the NDC Partnership Pilot Checklist Program Workshop 🌱

On September 13th, 2024, GACON LTD participated in the NDC Partnership Pilot Checklist Program Workshop, held at Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos. The workshop, facilitated by Cross Boundary Advisory in collaboration with the National Council on Climate Change, brought together key stakeholders from government, the private sector, and civil society, including capital seekers, providers, eco seekers, and government entities.

The focus of the event was on reviewing the NDC Checklist—a tool aimed at aligning Nigeria’s climate actions with global climate goals under the Paris Agreement. Participants exchanged ideas on scaling climate actions, overcoming challenges, and fostering collaboration to meet Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

Key takeaways included the need for stronger coordination between stakeholders, increased capacity-building efforts, and mobilizing financial resources to support climate initiatives. The workshop underscored Nigeria’s leadership in climate adaptation and mitigation, highlighting the crucial role of multi-sectoral engagement in driving sustainable development.
