The journey to the Ginger success story – How it all started.

With the aftermath effect of the Ginger blight epidemic on Nigeria Ginger source sustainability, Team GACON decided to set up pilot farms, working with Agronomist & consultants to recreate & multiply our dear Ginger seeds, being threatened with extinction. This recorded some success level.

Based on the 2024 Ginger seeds replication efforts of GACON & its visible impact, COLEAD chose GACON as one of her partner companies for Ginger seeds multiplication project in 2025. This turned out to be one very wise step towards bringing back Nigeria’s spicy, highly pungent, high oil content & strong aroma Ginger back into the International market.
