HRM Chidume-Okoro pinpointed the root cause of exchange rate instability as the production-consumption gap, with Nigeria consuming more than it produces. She urged a strategic shift towards prioritizing production and exportation, stressing that robust export activities are pivotal for addressing the country’s balance of trade deficit and bolstering foreign exchange reserves.
